Sezze: Dog sale scam to the detriment of an 18-year-old, 36-year-old reported

The Carabinieri of the Sezze Station they reported, at liberty, for fraud, a 36 year old Cameroonian citizen resident in Foggia (FG), already known to the police force. In the case, the victim, an 18-year-old girl looking for a puppy, had responded to an ad posted on a well-known website advertised by the 36-year-old, for the sale of his dog.

Once the price has been agreed, the girl made the payment of the sum of 350,00 euros, through 4 payments made, at different times, through bank transfers in the name of the 36 year old, to obtain delivery of the dog, which never took place.

The investigative insights have allowed the Carabinieri of Sezze (LT), to identify the perpetrator of the crime, through checks regarding the ownership of the current account into which the victim had paid the money, via the aforementioned bank transfers.
