Latina: Former caregiver suspected of murdering 63-year-old woman on Via Muzio Scevola arrested.

Latina, September 20, 2025- State Police, Latina Police Headquarters, with the constant coordination of the Public Prosecutor's Office of Latina, in less than 24 hours has acquired serious evidence of guilt towards a woman in connection with the murder committed in Latina on September 18 against a 63-year-old woman.

The Flying Squad police officers, who intervened yesterday morning at AR's house in Via Muzio Scevola, they took place immediately set to work to identify the killer. At the end of a detailed inspection of the house, conducted together with the specialists of the Scientific Police and which was also attended by PM, Dr. Martina Taglione, a series of elements have been collected which later proved useful for subsequent findings.

A series of measures have therefore been initiated investigative activities traditional methods, such as the questioning of numerous witnesses, accompanied by technical investigations. Based on statements taken from people close to the victim, who suffered from a serious disabling disease, the investigations were directed towards against a woman who had been working sporadically for a few months the duties of carer in the victim's home.

After hearing all the other witnesses, the woman was questioned subsequently stopped, which among other things presented a bandage on a finger of the hand, reporting that she had injured it the day previous while working as a cleaner in a shop.

However, she provided seriously circumstantial statements and discordant with those given by the other witnesses and with what emerged from the findings made, which allowed the Authority Judicial to adopt a restrictive measure.

Further investigations are underway also aimed at reconstruction of the motive for the mad act.
