Sanremo, he hid 18 doses of crack in his mouth: Convicted man arrested

The Carabinieri of the Sanremo Company have arrested in flagrante delicto another foreigner held responsible for the crime of illicit possession of narcotic substances. The man, thirty-seven years old, also of Senegalese nationality and a criminal, had been noticed while talking to another person near via Morando in the city of flowers by a patrol of the Radiomobile engaged in territorial control. Subjected to control, from an initial inspection of the clothes and furnishings the foreigner seemed clean but, after a brief conversation, the two Carabinieri realized that the interlocutor he spoke strangely and had two strange swellings on the sides of his cheeks, which could have no other reason to exist than that of trying to hide something in their mouths.

Now that he has been discovered, the man then handed over to the military eighteen packages that he had in his mouth and containing the same number of doses of crack, a narcotic substance which is known to be derived from cocaine and has particularly devastating effects on those who use it by inhaling it after overheating the crystals. The foreigner was therefore arrested red-handed and is currently held in the security cells of the Sanremo Company, at the disposal of the Judicial Authority and awaiting further proceedings, having to answer for the crime of illicit possession of narcotic substances.
