Sanremo: Man arrested for assault and stalking.

The Carabinieri of the Radiomobile Section of the Sanremo Company, last Tuesday afternoon, they intervened to help a woman who, very scared, had called the number 112 NUE because her husband had shown up at her workplace intending to attack her. The officers quickly reached the victim and immediately identified the man, who, clearly agitated and distraught, was ignoring the Carabinieri's presence and insisting on seeing his wife.

The man was therefore promptly stopped by the officers and taken to the Sanremo Company, where, after completing the usual formalities, he was declared under arrest for the crime of persecutionThe woman, already in the previous days, had reported to the Carabinieri that she had been the victim, for years now, of threats, aggressions and abuses; from her courageous report the "Code Red", which was followed, in light of the further act of violence perpetrated, by the arrest of the man.

The latter, confined in the security cells of the local Company, was subsequently transferred to the Court of Imperia, where the GIP, having validated the arrest, ordered the measure of pre-trial detention in prison.
