Borgomaro, attempted murder at the height of a brawl: a 48-year-old Albanian arrested.

The Carabinieri of Borgomaro have carried out aprecautionary custody order to house arrest with electronic bracelet against a 48 year old Albanian, farm worker resident in Lucinasco.

The man is accused of attempted murder for repeatedly stabbing a fellow countryman during a brawl broke out on January 10th in a bar in San Lazzaro RealeThe violent clash involved 9 Albanian agricultural workers, engaged in the olive harvest, degenerating into an assault with cutting weapons.

According to the investigations, the fight, which broke out over futile reasons and aggravated by alcohol abuse, saw one of the contenders be stabbed several times in the abdomen with a knife, while another reported injuries to the limbsThe first injured person was transported to hospital in reserved prognosis, but was later discharged with a prognosis of 40 days.

Upon the arrival of Carabinieri and Police, the participants of the fight had already disappeared and the bar had been closed by the manager. However, thanks to the extensive knowledge of the territory, the investigators managed to find out in a few hours identify all 9 subjects involved, which were reported.

After a careful reconstruction of the dynamics of the incident, the 48-year-old was recognized as perpetrator of the stabbing. The GIP of the Court of Imperia has therefore issued a precautionary measure, ordering the man house arrest with electronic bracelet, fearing a possible escape or tampering with evidence.
