Orbetello: he argues with his mother and runs away from home, found by the Carabinieri.

The Carabinieri of the Orbetello Company were activated late in the evening by a young woman, who had reported to the Single Emergency Number 112 that a friend of hers had run away from home.

The friend, the young woman said, had argued shortly before with her mother, a young woman residing in a locality in Argentario: at the height of the argument, the minor (we are talking about a girl of just 12 years old) suddenly walked away from home, without obviously giving any indication of where he was going.

To better understand the situation, the Carabinieri obtained the telephone number of the minor's mother, who on the phone confirmed to the Carabinieri the version already provided by the girl's friend: it had been an argument between her and her daughter, only that this time the daughter had had this reckless reaction.

The soldiers wasted no time and immediately got all the useful information from the mother, to better organize the search for the little girl, which obviously started immediately.

The action of the Carabinieri was timely and coherent, and in a very short time they recovered important information on the girl, her friendships and habits, as well as some photos to distribute to all the patrols on the circuit, in order to extend the search as quickly as possible.

The activity finally gave the desired outcome: it took a few hours, but the girl was finally found, near a public office in Argentario, where she had settled nearby to spend the night.

Someone, perhaps her own friends, had also brought her some blankets, so she could spend the rest of the night there. The girl was brought home by the Carabinieri, in perfect health, and entrusted to her mother who expressed words of thanks to the soldiers.
