During the extraordinary territorial control services carried out in Grosseto in the past few days, a patrol in civilian clothes from the Grosseto operational unit has a minor identified and arrested, which together with his accomplice had just scored a theft in the apartment.
The young people identified and arrested were two, of whom one just 14 years old and the second 12 years old. Shortly before the intervention of the Carabinieri, the two had entered a house in an unfrequented area in the municipality of Grosseto, and despite the presence of the owner of the house, a woman over 90 years old, completely oblivious to the panic when the old woman had come into their sight, they began to rummage everywhere, in drawers and furniture, looking for valuables and cash.
After the robbery, the two boys ran out and escaped onto the road, where at that very moment the car carrying the Carabinieri was passing by. The two soldiers noticed this anomalous escape of the two young men, and the woman who was leaning out of the balcony from afar, he was desperately screaming for help, screaming that she had been robbed.
A situation clear enough to allow the Carabinieri to intervene immediately: the two responsible were stopped not far away, not without having attempted to escape, at the end of a chase on foot.

The woman, still in disbelief at what had happened, has movedly thanked the military for their intervention.
The 14-year-old, for whom validation was requested of the arrest by the Attorney for Minors, Dr. Roberta Pieri, at the end of the necessary procedures he was accompanied to the institute for minors in Florence; for the 12 year old, not criminally responsible, the order was made placement in a community.
