Thanks to over 6 million euros of regional co-financing, the projects of the TRANSIT hub companies will have important implications for sustainable mobility and transport safety
Polo Transit presents its 12 transport and logistics innovation projects in Genoa
They were The 12 projects of the companies associated with the TRANSIT Hub were presented at the Confindustria headquarters in Genoa (Technologies and Research, Network, Safety and Intermodality in Transport) which the Liguria Region co-financed in the context of PR Fesr programming 2021-2027.
“We have reached the third day of giving back the great work carried out by the five regional Research and Innovation CentresThe focus is on the Transit Hub and all the companies that gravitate around this ecosystem which represents a territorial point of reference in the field of logistics and transport – underlines the Councillor Delegate for Economic Development and Research and Innovation Alessio Piana - In particular, thanks to a regional contribution of over 6 million euros, we have managed to stimulate projects in the area that will bring positive impacts of almost 13 million euros in terms of sustainable mobility, transport safety and intelligent maintenance".
The projects were also presented in the presence of the representative of the European Commission DG Regio Unità Italia-Malta Carla Michelini and Annamaria Poso of the Department of Cohesion Policies of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers (via video link), of the president of SIIT Remo Pertica and of the technical director of SIIT Bruno Conterno, as the managing body of the Hub. Three clusters identified: the sustainable mobility, with 5 projects presented (BAAS, GREENGO, FLEXYMOBILITY, MOBIQUITY, ECODELIVERY); there logistics and ports, with 4 projects presented (TRUST, TULIP, DEMOS, BAI4LOG); transport safety, with 3 projects presented (AI.WAY.PORT, ARESA, HELMET).
"An important occasion, which coincides with the first twenty years of the SIIT District, to highlight the vitality and capacity of our small and medium-sized enterprises to exploit the opportunities of the ERDF managed by the Region for innovate with increasingly industry-oriented projects“, underlines the SIIT President, Remo Pertica.
Tuesday 8th April will be the turn of the companies associated with the SOSIA Hub (Automation and Security) who will present, at the Confindustria headquarters in Genoa (from 9 to 13), the 18 projects developed and co-financed from the regional funds of the PR Fesr 2021-2027.
