Yesterday afternoon, extraordinary services were set up to monitor the area of ​​Via Prè, Piazza Santa Fede, Piazza Vittime di Tutte le Mafie and adjacent alleys, coordinated by the Prè Police Station with the support of 5 crews from the Liguria Crime Prevention Department, 2 anti-drug canine units from the UPGSP, 4 operators from the Polfer, Army soldiers and civilian personnel from the Investigative Teams.

During the activity, 2 arrests and 2 complaints were made.

A car arriving in Piazza Santa Fede attracted the attention of the two drug-sniffing dogs.

The operators of the Crime Prevention Department made the driver, a 28-year-old, get out of the vehicle to carry out a check.

The young man, with strong wine breath, began to rant against them with outrageous phrases and, when he realized that he would be subjected to an alcohol test, he attacked the officers, causing injuries to two of them judged, following access to the emergency room , healable in 5 and 10 days.

The man, who later tested positive for alcohol, was also charged with driving while intoxicated.

Following the immediate procedure, the obligation to report to the Judicial Police twice a week was applied to him.

Finally, in via Gramsci, a UPGSP patrol car noticed a young man driving an electric scooter. Having shortly before received the note of a theft from a car whose owner was complaining about the missing scooter, the officers immediately stopped him.

The vehicle corresponded exactly to the description provided, therefore it was returned to the victim of the theft, while the man who was using it, a 26-year-old, was reported for the crime of receiving stolen goods.
