Genoa: State Police arrest three young people, presumed responsible for a robbery in the Historic Center.

The State Police arrested three young people, two of whom were minors and one who had just turned 7, held responsible for a violent robbery committed on the evening of May XNUMX against a boy.

The attack occurred when the three alleged robbers, supported by three other individuals who did not intervene directly and who for this reason have been reported to the Juvenile Prosecutor's Office at large, attacked a boy who, finding himself passing through the group of foreigners, was called back by them with a pretext.

The victim immediately understood the aims of the three subjects and tried to move away under the arcades of via Turati, but was caught and hit with kicks and punches, forced against a wall.

While two continued to hit him, a third, who later turned out to be the adult of the group, began to feel his trousers in an attempt to steal his belongings.

The boy did not lose heart and reacted to the attack by managing to free himself and move away far enough to ask for help from a passing woman who called the emergency number and called for a State Police car to intervene.

Section staff “Countering Widespread Crime” of the Flying Squad, after a meticulous analysis of the images of the surveillance cameras in the area, and after having identified and listened to a witness, quickly reconstructed the event and identified all the participants in the attack.

Thanks to the joint coordination of the Juvenile Prosecutor's Office and the Ordinary Prosecutor's Office, two Cautionary Custody Orders were issued against the three main attackers, an adult and two minors, all of Maghrebi origin already involved in other similar facts already being examined by the Prosecutor's Office , who in recent days have been tracked down and transferred to their respective penitentiary institutions.
