Genoa: robbery on board a bus, the alleged perpetrator arrested.

The policemen of the police squad and the Cornigliano police station arrested a 24-year-old for the crimes of improper robbery and aggravated injuries, also reporting him for refusing to provide his personal details.

The man, while traveling on board a line 1 bus, took the mobile phone from the hands of a passenger and then got out of the vehicle and attempted to escape.

The victim of the theft, after chasing him and reaching him near via C. Menotti, was attacked by him with an iron bar found along the road.

During the scuffle, the unfortunate man still managed to disarm the 24-year-old who fled again, trying to hide inside the lobby of a bank, where the security guard, becoming suspicious, prohibited him from entering. After ensuring that the victim received the necessary medical care, the officers accompanied the 24-year-old to the police station, awaiting the very direct ritual scheduled for today's morning.
