Genoa: riding a scooter without a license, he does not stop at the police checkpoint and runs away throwing drug packages, reported.

The State Police reported a 39-year-old resident of Genoa for possession of narcotics for the purpose of dealing, also sanctioning him administratively for driving without a license, at an excessive speed and without giving way, as well as for driving a seized motorcycle.
The UPG police officers noticed the man on board a scooter traveling along via Sbarbaro, in the opposite direction to them. At the waist of the service car, the centaur suddenly increased his speed, a gesture that aroused the suspicion of the operators who immediately ordered him to stop.

At that point, the 39-year-old sped up even more and began to rummage through his pockets, distracting himself from driving and swerving into the oncoming lane, thus becoming a source of danger for other vehicles as well as for himself.

Before managing to block him in via Maritano, the operators saw him throwing some wrappers down a cliff, one of which was recovered and, from subsequent analyses, was found to contain cocaine.

Subjected to checks, the man was found in possession of the sum of 4.643 euros, probable proceeds of the illicit activity which was also confirmed by the house search during which material suitable for packaging the narcotic identical to that of the wrapper was found. recovered, as well as the sum of 617 euros.
Further investigations, however, established that the 34-year-old should not have driven the moped, which had already been subjected to administrative seizure, since he never obtained a driving licence.
