The victim was in a bar in Piazza della Vittoria at 18pm when a boy approached him and snatched his gold necklace. The thief was arrested by the police.

The State Police arrested a 21-year-old for the crime of theft by snatching also reporting him for possession of weapons.
The young man, Thursday afternoon, he approached a citizen, that at that moment he was sitting at a table outside a bar in Piazza della Vittoria, and, with a lightning move, he ripped the gold necklace from his neck and then ran away.
The victim, immediately, he called the police providing a detailed description of the young man allowing thus, to the agents of a UPGeSP squad (General Prevention and Public Rescue Office), who quickly intervened to his aid, to track down and block the fugitive in via Fiume. Subsequently during the complaint the citizen then unequivocally recognized the young man as the person responsible for the tear.
The 21-year-old was also found in possession of a switchblade.
