The State Police reported a 52-year-old homeless Algerian for the crime of attempted theft and for refusing to provide his personal details.
The owner of a restaurant, hearing a noise coming from the bar counter, he noticed a man who seemed to be looking for something behind the same. Having recognized him as the same person who in the previous days had stolen some of his and his employees' cell phones inside the premises, He ordered him to stop and held him until the police arrived.
The Flying Squad operators, to whom the man, in an evident state of alcoholic intoxication and extremely agitated, he provided partial information about his identity, they accompanied him to the police station and, from the investigations, numerous previous convictions for property crimes have emerged against him.
The 52-year-old, in addition to the events that occurred yesterday, was also reported for the thefts committed in the month of October in the same premises for which a complaint had been filed and the footage from the cameras had been provided.
