Genoa: They try to steal a man's wallet using pepper spray, a 15-year-old and an 18-year-old reported
The Genoa State Police has two Tunisians aged 15 and 18 reported for attempted aggravated robbery in competition.
The patrol cars were sent from the operations room in Via di Fossatello because a 56-year-old local man had been approached by the two young men who, trying to steal his wallet, hit him in the face with pepper spray. The man managed to escape, taking refuge in his home from where he alerted the police, describing the events that had occurred. The officers who arrived on the scene immediately began searching for those responsible, also viewing the footage from the video surveillance cameras in the historic center.
In the meantime, their attention was drawn to the driver of a bus who complained about the presence of two individuals on board intent on sleeping in the back seats, preventing him from returning to the garage. The operators intervened, recognizing the young people as responsible for the events that had previously occurred, from the clothing corresponding to that of the images provided by the cameras and then proceeded to search them, finding the two pepper sprays hidden inside the clothes. Accompanied to the police station, have been reported.
