Genoa: The Genoa Brignole Railway Police returns the stolen mobile phone to the owner and recovers two stolen French identity documents.

The constant prevention activity carried out by the Railway Police in the Genoa stations and on board the train, allowed the police officers of the Polfer Sub-section of Genoa Brignole to recover and return to its rightful owner the mobile phone that had been stolen from her a short time before on board the train by two individuals who, having got off the train, were attempting to evade the control of the officers but who were stopped near the exit of the station with the stolen goods still in their pockets and who, for this reason, were reported to the judicial authorities.

On the same day, the Polfer officers of Genova Brignole, who intervened on a call for help from the railway staff, were attacked with kicks and punches by two young men who did not want to get off the train that had reached the end of its journey. The two individuals, who showed two French identity documents that had been stolen a few days ago in the transalpine state, were arrested and placed at the disposal of the local Judicial Authority.

On both occasions, timely reporting of what was happening to the police was crucial.

The Ligurian Railway Police, in highlighting the valuable collaboration provided by the citizens, renews the invitation to everyone to immediately report to the Police any criminal or risk situation in which one may involuntarily stumble upon while using the railway.
