Il Orientations Project celebrates his 30th anniversary with an edition full of events that will take place throughout the 2025.

The program kicked off on 4 February al Cough Theatre with an event dedicated to 1.000 students from 26 Genoese schools, who witnessed a lecture by astronaut Paolo Nespoli.

«An important birthday for a festival that is not just the November event, but a training course that accompanies the kids all year round – declared the Councillor for Education Simona Ferro.

Our goal is to help young people make their career choices without giving up their dreams, and for this reason we have decided to extend the Orientamenti format with dedicated initiatives.

In the month of February, dedicated to STEM disciplines, we will listen to the story of the science communicator Linda Raimondo.

Afterwards, every month until June, the kids will meet the psychologist and writer again. Massimo Recalcati, the swimming champion Blessed Pilate and the actor Marco Paolini.

But it's not just about testimonials: we want to show young people the path that leads to personal fulfillment in work, the value of training and determination in achieving one's goals.».

There is nothing more rewarding than doing what you love and being able to turn it into a life opportunity.».

The festival Guidelines will continue to expand throughout the year with various initiatives: «We have added an extra day to November, from 18th to 21st, and we are strengthening the Career Day to encourage young people to meet the world of work. – he said again Iron - Furthermore, with Orientamenti Summer, we want to give middle school students useful tools to reflect on their future even during the holidays.

We have built a solid network for the success of the Festival, involving the Promotion Committee, the Regional School Office, the University of Genoa, the Ligurian Chamber of Commerce system, the Municipality and the Metropolitan City of Genoa, as well as the ITS and vocational training institutes.

A big thank you also goes to families and teachers, who believe in our project and accompany the kids with enthusiasm.

We will continue to work so that Orientamenti is increasingly a point of reference for young people, an opportunity to grow, orient themselves and build their future with awareness.».

«We have reached a truly significant milestone, that of 30 years of Orientamenti – declares the regional councillor for the Programming of the European Social Fund Marco Scajola - We have made hundreds of training opportunities and initiatives available to students, parents and teachers.

We have succeeded in increasing, year after year, the number and quality of our activities by making Orientamenti a large container that is active for 365 days. We begin this new year by giving space to STEM with the aim of bringing students closer to these subjects and the skills related to them, increasingly in demand by the world of employment.

Through the fundamental resources of the European Social Fund we will continue to support Orientamenti and accompany our children from school to work».
