Genoa: State Police, extraordinary territorial control services in Genoa, one reported.
the UPGSP coordinated an extraordinary territorial control service aimed at combating widespread crime and forms of violent youth aggregations with the use of operators from the Liguria Crime Prevention Department in the areas of Cornigliano, Sampierdarena and Valpolcevera.
In particular, the activity began near the Fiumara Shopping Centre with a checkpoint for vehicles in transit and a foot patrol in the adjacent gardens.
Furthermore, via Cornigliano, via Jori and via Canepari were searched.
Also on the same day, following a report from the Operations Room, the operators of a UPGSP patrol car went to a betting shop in Via Pellizzari because a 26-year-old Egyptian man was acting up.
When they arrived on the scene they immediately noticed the man who, in a clearly altered state from alcohol abuse, at the sight of the officers began to behave aggressively, threatening and insulting them.
He was taken to the Police Headquarters where he continued to behave violently, even kicking the wall hard. During the check, a bottle of a psychotropic drug was found for which he did not have a prescription and whose possession he could not justify.
He was then reported for violence, resistance and insult to a Public Official, receiving stolen goods and defacement. He was also fined for drunkenness.
