Genoa: State Police, alleged drug dealer arrested at the Fiumara gardens.

The State Police arrested a 19-year-old Egyptian, homeless, and without documents for possession of drugs for the purpose of dealing. The UPGSP agents during a check inside the gardens in front of the “Fiumara” shopping center, noticed the boy trying to hide behind a bush.

As they approached, the patrol saw him abandon some packages on the ground, which later turned out to contain some “sticks” of hashish, for a total weight of 110 g, and 24 doses of cocaine, for a total of 15 g.
Stopped by the officers, the young man was taken to the police station, the drugs and his smartphone were seized. He will be taken to a direct trial, without prejudice to the presumption of innocence.

During the night, other narcotics were removed from the squares thanks to a check in the historic center carried out by the Central Police Station. A team, on foot in the areas of Via San Luca, Piazza Banchi and Vigne, noticing a group of young people in Vico del Santo Sepolcro who dispersed at the sight of the uniforms and smelling a strong odor of hashish, inspected various nooks and crannies of the alley. Under a grate, in a cavity and under a door, the officers found and seized 1 grams of hashish and 25 grams of cocaine and crack from unknown persons.
