Most of them, disguised with helmets and armed with clubs and sticks, began throwing glass bottles and fireworks, also hitting service cars. The personnel in the picture engaged in preventive route clearance services, made to get off the vehicles, he repelled the action with a quick departmental maneuver, causing the ultras to immediately move away towards Via Rivoli and Via Corsica, without any contact resulting and immediately afterwards allowing the safe passage of the convoy of visiting fans.

At the end, a Police car in standard colours and with personnel on board suffered a smashed windshield and dents on the bonnet, while a car in the official colours of the Genoa Local Police, with personnel employed in traffic services, was damaged with the rear window smashed. Seized were 16 wooden sticks of the pickaxe type, 2 metal bars curved at the ends, 2 rigid rods made of hard plastic, 1 buoy, 6 unexploded torches and items of clothing.

The services in the area continued with a complete reconnaissance of the places and the acquisition of elements useful to the investigators. Active investigations underway by the Digos, also thanks to the copious documentary material acquired by the Scientific Police, for the purpose of identifying the perpetrators of the criminal conduct, also in relation to the reported damage to two private cars parked there. Following the outcome, the Anti-Crime Division will initiate the consequent proceedings aimed at adopting the DASPO.
