Genoa: intervention for a troublesome person with a prison order against him, arrested.

The State Police executed a detention order against a 58-year-old homeless Algerian.
Yesterday afternoon a patrol of the UPGSP Flying Squad intervened following the report of a disturbing individual inside the Coop in Corso Europa.

The operators tracked the man down to the gardens above the business and, when asked to show identification, he became aggressive towards the operators.
The investigations revealed that he was the recipient of a prison order issued by the Court of Genoa on 7 October.

The man, with a criminal record for crimes against the person and property, was taken to Marassi prison where he will serve a 9-month sentence.
