Genoa, Inter-force Anti-Crime Service: 280 grams of hashish seized in two operations
Last week, staff from the Central Police Station coordinated a territorial control service in the historic center, with the Liguria Crime Prevention Department and the anti-drug dog handlers. During the service, monitor the areas where significant critical issues have been recorded, due to the frequentation of drug dealers and users, the subject of complaints received from citizens and associations.
In particular, the operators have patrolled the areas under the jurisdiction of the Police Station, concentrating on the area of Piazza delle Vigne, Vico Greci, Vico Campanile della Chiesa delle Vigne, Piazza Caricamento, under the porticoes of Sottoripa and in the surrounding streets. During the activity The State Police dogs found approximately 180 grams of hashish hidden in a doorway and in scaffolding in Vico Campanile.
Yesterday evening the men from Cornigliano took to the field with the Liguria Crime Prevention Unit and the anti-drug dog handlers. During the service, the men werethe areas of Piazza Vittorio Veneto, Via Sampierdarena, Via Cantore, Certosa and the Fiumara gardens and the Melis gardens were searched. In the latter, the State Police dogs found, hidden in crevices, about 100 grams of hashish, a knife and two precision scales.
