Genoa: Family dispute and drug dealing, 49-year-old reported
The State Police reported a 49-year-old Tunisian for resisting a PU (Public Official), aggravated personal injury and possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking.
A patrol car intervened in the Prà neighbourhood following a anonymous report of family quarrel. Once they reached the door of the apartment in question, the officers rang the bell for a long time, but received no response, even though they had seen the tenant look out the window shortly before.
Meanwhile, another patrol remained outside the building, he saw the man trying to climb down from the balcony to escape, but at the sight of the uniforms he went back into the house, barricading himself. When the operators were able to gain access, the man suddenly lunged at them, causing one of them a bruise on the hand, which, following a medical examination, was deemed curable in 7 days. Furthermore, during the verification of the state of the premises, packaging material was noticed. A house search was carried out which led to the discovery of numerous doses of cannabis derivatives.
