On the evening of Friday, March 28, the Chiavari State Police performed an extraordinary territorial control service, aimed at combating widespread crime, drug dealing and urban decay due to violent youth groups. A total of 268 people and 20 cars were checked.

On the evening of Friday 28 March, the Chiavari Police Station directed and coordinated a extraordinary territorial control service in the Levant, aimed at combating widespread crime, drug dealing and urban decay due to violent youth groups, with the joint use of the Crime Prevention Unit, the Chiavari Railway Police and the Local Police.
During the activity we proceeded to control of people, vehicles, as well as areas affected by widespread crime, drug dealing and consumption, alcohol abuse or known for deviant forms of youth aggregation, the subject of numerous complaints from citizens. The checks were concentrated in the center of the town, in particular Piazza Mazzini, Piazza Fenice, Piazza Matteotti and the surrounding alleys, an area full of clubs and meeting places for the very young and on the coast. The monitoring was extended together with the Polfer to the Chiavari railway station and the main roads entering the Municipality of Chiavari.

A total of 268 people and 20 cars were checked.
The widespread action implemented, which will be repeated in the coming days, aims to increase the level of safety for all citizens.
