Chiavari: Drug dealing and resisting a public official, 24-year-old arrested
The State Police, following an investigative activity for the fight against drug dealing on the Sestri Levante seafront, arrested a 24-year-old Egyptian for drug dealing and resisting a PU (Public Official), seizing 3 grams of hashish and some doses of cocaine, reported 3 individuals to the Judicial Authority for drug dealing and one of them also for receiving stolen goods; three young people reported to the Prefecture for personal use.
Following an investigative activity that began in recent weeks, the officers of the Chiavari Police Station carried out a service aimed at combating drug dealing in the Sestri Levante seafront area, near the tourist port.
They caught the 24-year-old red-handed during a drug deal with three young people, who were then administratively fined for personal use.
Conspicuously discovered, the boy tried to escape and resisted, but without result. Following a search it was found in possession of 2 grams of hashish and some doses of cocaine, ready for sale.
Overall, the total balance of the activity carried out during the investigations was two individuals reported for drug dealing, as they were found in possession of hashish already prepared in doses for retail sale; of three young people reported to the Prefecture for personal and commercial use a young man reported for drug dealing and receiving stolen goods, as he was found driving a stolen motorcycle, which was returned to its rightful owners the following day.
