San Fruttuoso: mistreats his partner, arrested

It is 21.30pm on Tuesday 21st January, when The State Police arrests a 41-year-old Latvian for the crime of mistreatment within the family.

The arrest was carried out by the officers of the San Fruttuoso Police Station, who intervened following a request for help from a woman who, after being the victim of yet another attack perpetrated by her partner, went to the police station guardhouse in search of a safe place.

The operators, after having offered the necessary support to the woman, learned that The man had already threatened her on other occasions and attacked her, causing injuries for which the intervention of the Police Force and medical personnel was necessary.

Also on this occasion, the victim was accompanied to the Galliera hospital to receive the necessary treatment. The man, found at the home shared with his partner, presented himself to the agents in an evident state of psychophysical alteration due to the abuse of alcohol.

Escorted to Marassi prison, is now at the disposal of the Judicial Authority.
