Sestri Ponente: found in possession of 10 packs of cocaine and 4 wraps of cannabis. 21 year old arrested.

Last Thursday, during the anti-crime services in the western part of the city, also in response to the complaints presented by individual citizens and committees, the State Police a 21-year-old man arrested for possession of drugs for the purpose of dealing. The activity, coordinated by staff from the Sestri Ponente Police Station, together with staff from the Crime Prevention Department and the anti-drug dog units, with dogs Constantin and Leone, it concerned in particular the delegations of Voltri and the CEP area.

On December 2nd, the dog Leone reported a 21 year old who, upon seeing the policemen, threw two packages containing them on the ground 10 wraps of cocaine (5,11 grams) and 4 wraps of cannabis (35,70 grams). When checked, he was found in possession of another 2,28 grams of cannabis and 480 euros, probable proceeds of illicit activity. During the house search, material suitable for packaging, 100 euros and a large hunting knife.

The 21-year-old was arrested for possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking and judged directly on Friday morning. He remains subject to the presumption of innocence until definitive conviction.

Another cannabis-type drug had also been smelled by Leone, last Tuesday, in the gardens of the Fiumara shopping center, hidden in various ravines.
