Rapallo: plainclothes policeman saves a boy from a suicide attempt.

Thursday evening around 23pm, an Agent from the Rapallo Police Station who was going to work for the night shift, heard shouts coming from a building and, without hesitation, entered the building to understand what was happening.

At that point the policeman saw a 13 year old boy, suffering from psychological distress, who, in a strong state of agitation and in the throes of a nervous breakdown, was trying to free himself from the grip of his mother and a friend of hers with light intent on throwing himself down the stairs.

The Agent, after having immediately qualified, he intervened to help the woman and managed to block the young man.
Subsequently he then called 112 and, while waiting for the ambulance to arrive, he established a friendly relationship with the 13-year-old, thus managing to calm and reassure him.

The boy was subsequently transported to the emergency room of the Gaslini hospital for further investigations.
