The State Police of Genoa arrested a 19-year-old and a 42-year-old Ecuadorians and reported also un compatriot 26 years old, all for resisting a Public Official. A crew of the State Police, during the control of the territory in the Sampierdarena area, he noticed a car with three young people on board speeding along Via Reti, “burning” also the Red at the intersection with Via Stennio.
The driver, at the sight of the patrol car, started a dangerous escape for himself and for road users, travelling at high speed, even in the wrong direction, among the streets around via Rolando, concluding his race against the traffic light in Piazza Masnata. The operators immediately exited the car to reach and help any injured people, but the occupants of the car, when they opened the doors, attacked them by kicking and waving their arms. Taken to the Police Headquarters for checks, the 19-year-old, in addition to being found to only have a pink slip, therefore without a driving license, was also found in possession of approximately 4 grams of hashish, for which he was administratively reported to the Prefecture.
Numerous fines have been issued for failure to comply with the Highway Code, such as speeding, violation of road signs, driving without an instructor, failure to possess vehicle and driving documents and inappropriate driver behaviour towards pedestrians, as well as criminal seizure of the car., owned by a relative. The 26-year-old was reported at large for resisting arrest, while the third passenger, who had a facial injury, had already been taken into care by medical personnel at the time of the accident.
Meantime, during the activity of the Scientific Police, on site to carry out the necessary surveys, a 42-year-old approached to make a video, claiming to be the father of the driver of the crashed car. The man began to swear and get between the car and the officers. The support team tried to stop him and identify him, but man, after refusing to give his personal details, he attacked the operators, engaging in a fight and injuring one operator, who suffered injuries with a prognosis of 5 days. Taken to the Police Headquarters, he was arrested for resisting a Public Official and reported for aggravated injuries and refusal to provide information on his personal identity. Following a summary trial, the two arrests were validated.
