Genoa: Caught, without a license and drunk while driving a stolen motorcycle, reported by the Highway Police

As part of the territorial control activities carried out by the Genoa Traffic Police Section, on Saturday, in the neighbourhood of Sampierdarena, a patrol of the Section noticed a motorcycle proceeding in an abnormal manner and therefore decided to carry out an control.

From the investigations, the driver was found to be driving in state of drunkenness, without a driving license and on board a stolen motorcycle.

The operators proceeded to contest the administrative penalties driving under the influence of alcohol and without a license, as well as referral to the competent Judicial Authority for the crime of stolenThe presumption of innocence of the accused remains intact until a final conviction.

At the end of the investigations, the operators involved have the vehicle was returned to its rightful owner.
