Genoa, the alleged perpetrator of several stab wounds inflicted on a young man arrested

In the early hours of the morning, the State Police patrol cars intervened in Via Jori, in Rivarolo, for the report of the presence on the street of a young man who had been injured by several stab wounds that had hit him in the back and head.

The Flying Squad began investigations immediately, in order to clarify in detail the dynamics of the facts and identify the perpetrators of the serious crime. The investigations made it clear that the victim of the wounding had intervened, together with some friends, to try to calm down an argument between two boyfriends, but in response he had received several stab wounds from a boy of Tunisian origins, one of which was just a few centimetres from his face.

The investigations, within a few hours, led to the identification of the alleged perpetrator of the serious conduct, a twenty-year-old Tunisian, already known as having been arrested in recent months, again by this Flying Squad, as the alleged perpetrator of an aggravated robbery, committed in conjunction with other individuals, which took place in the city centre.

With respect to the accused, in consideration of the manner of the criminal action, the Public Prosecutor's Office of Genoa requested and obtained the issuing of a precautionary custody order in prison for the crime of attempted murder, a measure that was executed yesterday, through his transfer to prison at the disposal of the Judicial Authority.
