Genoa: State Police arrests a 51-year-old for drug dealing and seizes a hectogram of hashish

The Genoa State Police has a 51-year-old man arrested of the place for possession for the purpose of dealing narcotic substances, also reporting him for carrying weapons or objects capable of causing offence.

In the last few days the Judicial Police team of the San Fruttuoso Police Station had become aware of a drug dealing activity inside a neighborhood bar.

During the surveillance operations, they had noticed the 51-year-old who, on board his scooter, was moving from bar to bar, conversing with criminals.

On the afternoon of November 21, the officers stopped the man near his home, finding him in possession of some doses of hashish. In the underseat compartment of his motorcycle there were 150 € hidden in a rag and a 21cm knife.

We proceeded as follows: house search during which they were found hidden at the bottom of a wardrobe, 1g of hashish , scales and packaging material.

The man will be tried directly on the morning of November 22. The presumption of innocence of the suspect remains intact until a final conviction.
