The State Police intervened in two separate operations: a 44-year-old was caught stealing inside a bar in Calata Morosini and a 39-year-old was reported for resisting and disturbing passers-by.

A night of intense activity for the State Police of Genoa, engaged in two distinct interventions which led to a arrest for robbery and to one complaint for resisting a public official and other crimes.
Theft and brawl at Porto Antico: 44-year-old arrested
Iin Calata Morosini, the officers of a patrol car intervened to help a Porto Antico security officer, who had had a fight with a man caught stealing inside a closed bar. 44enne, coming from outside the province, had entered the premises and had stolen approximately 250 euros from the cash fund, then attempting to escape. The security guard, having noticed the theft, he stopped him after a brief struggle, allowing the officers – who intervened quickly – to arrest him for robbery.
During the identification procedures, the man also provided false personal information, which is why he was reported for false attestation of personal identityThe stolen money was recovered and returned to the rightful owner of the bar. The 44-year-old will be tried by summary procedure this morning, without prejudice to the principle of presumption of innocence until the final sentence.
Via XX Settembre: 39-year-old reported for disturbing passersby and spitting at a patrol car
Always a GenoVa, but in the late afternoon, a second intervention by the State Police led to the complaint from a citizen pakistano of 39 years for resisting a public official, false identity claims and defacing other people's property. At about 19:50 PM in Via XX Settembre, during routine patrol checks, the officers noticed the man who he approached the company car in an annoying manner, attempting to lock the door.
At the sight of the policemen, the 39-year-old is fled in the direction of Via Fieschi, but coming reached and stopped a few meters later and he was bothering passers-by. During the check, the man started to screaming, insulting the officers and spitting at the patrol car, opposing active resistance to identification. After securing him, the policemen reported on the loose for the crimes charged.
