Genoa: The Orientamenti 2025 Festival celebrates 30 years of meetings and training.

From November 18th to 21st, the Orientamenti Festival returns to Magazzini del Cotone with 200 events, 150 exhibitors, and distinguished guests to guide young people towards their future.

Four days, two hundred meetings, one hundred and fifty exhibitors and thousands of young people expected: the Festival Orientations celebrates the milestone of thirty years and comes back from 18 to 21 of November 2025 ai Cotton Warehouses of Genoa with a very rich program. The protagonists will be students and "Dreamers" such as astrophysicist Amalia Ercoli Finzi, master pastry chef Iginio Massari , journalist Giovanna Botteri.

For the first time the event, organized by Liguria region, extends over four days to respond to the growing number of participants. The Festival represents the culmination of a year-round training program, aimed at supporting the choices of students and families. With over 4.000 square meters of exhibition area at the Cotton Warehouses and in the spaces of the The Space cinema, the 2025 edition promises to be the largest ever.

During the event the entire exhibition will be presented post-middle school educational offering, from secondary schools and IeFP – enhanced by competitions WorldSkills – up to tertiary education with University, ITS Academy and AFAM. Ample space will also be reserved for the world of work, with the participation of local companies and institutions.

Partner organizations include theRegional School Office University of Genoa, Genoa Chamber of Commerce and that of the Rivieras of Liguria, City of Genoa, Metropolitan City, Ligurian IeFP system and Ligurian ITS system.

«Orientamenti is one of our flagships – commented the President of the Liguria Region Marco Bucci –. For thirty years, the event has supported young people in their choices, helping them discover study and work paths in line with their talents and dreams." Bucci recalled that the 2025 edition will host over 100 students and numerous events with personalities from the institutional, journalistic, cultural and sporting worlds, who will offer testimonies and concrete tools for building the future of young people.

The commissioner Simona Ferro, with responsibility for School, University and Training, has defined Guidelines «a nationally recognized educational model». He underlined the Region's commitment to building a system capable of supporting young people throughout the year, also thanks to theevening opening on November 20th, designed to allow working parents to participate.

Even the commissioner Marco Scajola, responsible for ESF Programming, recalled the importance of the Liguria Region's investment in human capital: «From 2022 to today, over 280 million euros involving 55 thousand citizens in training and inclusion projects". The 2024 edition had recorded 120 thousand presences, confirming Guidelines such as national reference point for youth policies.

The 2025 Festival will open with three symbolic figures of the thematic itineraries:

  • Amalia Ercoli Finzi for “Stem”, dedicated to science, technology and innovation;

  • Giovanna Botteri for "Human", dedicated to the humanities and social sciences;

  • Iginio massari for “Hands”, dedicated to creativity and know-how.

Among the “Dreamers” guests also Massimo Recalcati, Alessandro D'Avenia, Stella Nervini, Andrea Lucchetta e Francis Bocciardo.

The important ones institutional presences: the minister Paul Zangrillo, the minister Alessandra Locatelli, the minister Anna Maria Bernini, the deputy minister Maria Theresa Bellucci, the constitutional judge Robert Cassinelli and the president of the Privacy Authority Pasquale Stanzione.

Conferences, workshops and laboratories will be promoted by Ministry of Labour, from Ministry of Public Administration, ISTAT, Inapp, Italian Labor Development and from Department for Cohesion Policies.
Alongside the institutions, the Giffoni Film Festival, with its creative and cultural contribution.
