Genoa, drug stash discovered: two arrests and one reported. The drug-sniffing dog "Leone" located 1,2 kg of cannabis in a cellar.

At 7.30 on Saturday morning, in the area of San Fruttuoso Delegation, State Police of Genoa performed one precautionary measure in prison against a 19-year-old from Genoa, already under house arrest for drug dealing.

The young man, arrested last August by the Flying Squad because he was found with alarge amount of drugs, had continued the illicit activity by receiving buyers directly in his home, as confirmed in recent weeks by the Foce–Sturla Police Station.

The officers then reached the boy to notify him of the new restrictive measure, simultaneously carrying out a house search with the assistance of the UPGSP canine unit

The drug-sniffing dog Lion, immediately after entering the basement, he smelled something suspicious not in the 19-year-old's cellar, but in the adjacent one.

Once the premises were opened and registered to a neighbour, the officers found 1,2 kg of cannabis, already divided into sealed envelopes.

The search was then extended to the apartment of the owner of the cellar, a 47enne, who lives with his wife and son 19enne.

Here too, the dog Leone identified several places where drugs and drug dealing tools were hidden:

• doses of hashish in the son's room,

• un scaleTwo new grindera whirlpool bath, pipette, a knife for cutting,

• Other hashish, cannabis and packaging material scattered around the house,

• 800 euros in cash, considered to be proceeds of the activity.

The 19-year-old recipient of the aggravated precautionary measure was transferred to the Marassi prisonThe 47-year-old neighbor was arrested for possession of drugs for the purpose of dealing, while his son was reported in competition.
