Ceccano: a thirty-year-old Gambian arrested for possession of narcotics with intent to sell.

The Carabinieri's efforts to combat drug dealing in the capital city continue: the Carabinieri of the Frosinone Scalo station have arrested a 30-year-old Gambian found in possession of over 75 grams of hashish.

For days, the Carabinieri of the Frosinone Scalo Station have focused their attention on the area of ​​Piazza Pertini, where they surprised and reported at large a person who had been subject to a mandatory expulsion order and who was not allowed to return to the municipality of Frosinone, and they reported to the Prefecture a drug user found in possession of a modest quantity of hashish.

This time the military managed to identify one of the drug dealers in the area. When the man realized that the Carabinieri were approaching him, he tried to get rid of the hashish he was keeping in a cellophane bag, throwing it away. But by then it was too late: the Carabinieri were now monitoring his every move and, having promptly recovered the bag, they ascertained that inside it contained a 75-gram block of hashish.

The man was therefore taken to the Carabinieri Station in Frosinone Scalo, where, out of respect for modesty and personal dignity, he was subjected to a personal search, which also led to the discovery of precision scales and money believed to be the proceeds of drug dealing.

The military seized the drugs, the money and the scales and proceeded to arrest the man who, by order of the Judicial Authority, was placed under house arrest.

The GIP Office at the Court of Frosinone, at the request of the Public Prosecutor's Office, validated the arrest and applied the precautionary measure of house arrest.
