La Foggia State Police continues the action of fight against irregular immigration, carried out by the police of theImmigration Office of the Police Headquarters. From January 1st to today, have been performed 8 expulsion orders towards non-EU citizens in an irregular position.

Between these, two subjects were found to be authors of crimes of particular social alarm and they already have served his sentence in prison before repatriation.

Execution of measures

The measures of administrative expulsion, issued by the Prefect, were performed with immediate accompaniment to the border at the disposal of Quaestor, for repatriation to their respective countries of origin.

Just in January, in addition to repatriations with forced escort to the border, the Police have:

• Done 5 detentions at i National CPRs for the subsequent repatriation phase,
• Issued 9 orders issued by the Police Commissioner with order to leave the national territory within 7 days.

The action of fight against irregular immigration will continue without interruption, ensuring compliance with current legislation.
