More than 180 thousand have been discharged and recovered
Milano, 18 June 2020 – The Department's commitment continues in the coordination activities of all the components and operational structures of the National Civil Protection Service.
In particular, as part of the health monitoring relating to the spread of the Coronavirus in our territory, as of today, 18 June, the total number of people who have contracted the virus is 238.159*, with an increase compared to yesterday of 333 new cases.
The total number of currently positive is 23.101, with a decrease of 824 clients compared to yesterday. Among those currently positive, 168 are being treated in intensive care, with an increase of 5 patients compared to yesterday.
2.867 people are hospitalized with symptoms, a decrease of 246 patients compared to yesterday.
20.066 people, equal to 87% of the currently positive, are in isolation without symptoms or with mild symptoms.
Compared to yesterday, 66 died and bring the total to 34.514. The overall number of those discharged and recovered rises to 180.544, with an increase of 1.089 people compared to yesterday.
In detail, the currently positive cases of coronavirus are 14.647 in Lombardy, 2.290 in Piedmont, 1.281 in Emilia-Romagna, 607 in Veneto, 438 in Tuscany, 246 in Liguria, 997 in Lazio, 577 in Marche, 242 in Campania, 306 in Puglia, 59 in the autonomous province of Trento, 637 in Sicily, 97 in Friuli Venezia Giulia, 434 in Abruzzo, 85 in the autonomous province of Bolzano, 16 in Umbria, 31 in Sardinia, 6 in Valle d'Aosta, 35 in Calabria, 60 in Molise and 10 in Basilicata.
