Migliarino: Drunk Attacks Carabinieri, Arrested

A lively evening on Saturday 8 March 2025 in Migliarino, concluded with an arrest of the Carabinieri of the local station.
First, the request for intervention by 118 from a non-EU citizen who reported that his brother was feeling unwell. Arrived on site the health workers were "welcomed" by the two, who were drunk, throwing bottles without fortunately being hit. Then the request for intervention by the Carabinieri, arrived from the 118 operations center, who sent a patrol from the Migliarino Station to the site and, in support, another patrol from Portomaggiore.

Even the soldiers, just arrived, were insulted and threatened by one of the two brothers who then tried to escape through the fields where he was reached by the soldiers and put up a strenuous resistance, trying to push them back with violent pushes. Blocked and rendered harmless, the man was then declared under arrest for resisting a Public Official and accompanied to the barracks of the Portuense Company. Once the arrest procedures were completed the man was held in the holding cells and this afternoon he was brought before the Court of Ferrara which validated his arrest and postponed the hearing to June 13, 2025.
