The young women then went to the Carabinieri station in Corso Giovecca to file a complaint complaint of theft, providing a precise description of the bicycles. Sorry for what happened, but certainly not demoralized, the two girls decided to try to consult some social platforms to verify if someone had put their vehicles up for sale.
In the afternoon, the confirmation arrived: two young people, on a channel “telegram”, they had put their own bicycles up for sale. Having made an appointment with the two sellers in a square in the center, the girls informed the Carabinieri of Corso Giovecca. The meeting thus took place under the control of the Carabinieri who, in civilian clothes, monitored the moves of the two salesmen who had shown up at the meeting equipped with the two bicycles.
In a few seconds they are then the soldiers intervened and stopped the two youths and returned the bicycles to the girls. The two sellers were therefore reported at liberty to the Este Prosecutor's Office for conspiracy to receive stolen goods.
