Ferrara: He resists control and attacks the Carabinieri. Arrested for resisting a public official and causing injury

It was around 14pm. 5 February when, a patrol of the Radiomobile Section of the Ferrara Company, passing through via Gustavo Bianchi, noticed a citizen of foreign origin who, riding a bicycle, at the sight of the service vehicle he suddenly changed direction, taking the nearby cycle path.

The military then decided to investigate the situation further: while the crew chief was getting off the vehicle chasing the subject on foot, the colleague reached via Liuzo on board the car radio blocking the escape of the man who, seeing himself blocked, initially he threw a small package into the bushes and then he attacked the soldiers engaging with them a violent scuffle.

After several attempts to stop the violent action of man, the military then used the taser supplied, blocking it.

The subject, 36 year old of foreign origin, was then transported to the hospital for the necessary checks and at the same time taken to arrest for resisting a public official and assault.

The package thrown by the man was found shortly after and seized because it contained 1,43 gr of narcotic substance of the marijuana type.

By order of the Public Prosecutor on duty, the man was subsequently released freedom pending validation of arrest.
