Ferrara: House used as a greenhouse for marijuana production, 50-year-old criminal arrested

On Sunday afternoon, the military personnel of the Porto Garibaldi station, after investigations and prolonged stakeouts, they arrested a 50-year-old offender from Lagosanto for possession with intent to deal in drugs.

The man, stopped near Fiscaglia, was subjected to control. At home and in a farmhouse at his disposal, the men of the Arma have found and seized over 4,5 kg of marijuana ready for sale, over thirty plants in the drying phase, 32 gr. of hashish, lamps to promote the growth of the plants, over 6000 euros in cash believed to be the proceeds of drug dealing, and all the packaging material of the doses to be placed in the Comacchio square and in the surrounding towns.

The man was arrested and subsequently placed under house arrest as ordered by the Public Prosecutor on duty. The Court of Ferrara validated the arrest and ordered the precautionary measure of the obligation to report to the Carabinieri Station of Massa Fiscaglia.
