Lieutenant Francesco Mutri, assigned to the prestigious command of the Ferrara Principale Carabinieri Station, said goodbye to Lido degli Estensi, passing the baton to Chief Marshal Matteo Bertolli.
Lieutenant Mutri, a graduate in Political Sciences and enlisted in the Carabinieri in 1995, after starting his career in the capital employed first at the 8th Regiment "Lazio" and then at the Carabinieri Company Rome - Piazza Dante, moved to Comacchio where, after having held the command of the Radiomobile Unit, he served at the Operational Unit of the local Carabinieri Company. After a brief career in the province of Forlì, he returned to the lagoon town where he held the Command first of the Carabinieri Station of Mesola and, subsequently, of the Carabinieri Station of Lido degli Estensi.
During his career, Lieutenant Mutri also held positions for the Carabinieri abroad, at the Joint Police Liaison Office in Albania, the Temporary International Presence in Hebron in the West Bank, the European Union Police Mission in Bosnia Herzegovina and Operation Inherent Resolve in Baghdad – Iraq.
Chief Marshal Matteo Bertolli, born in 1989, originally from La Maddalena (SS), after completing his training at the Marshals School of Florence in 2016, obtaining a three-year degree in "Legal Sciences of Security", began his career in the hinterland of the province of Enna, in Sicily, carrying out a period at the Carabinieri Station of Nicosia (Enna) and subsequently, in 2019, holding the position of Commander of the Radiomobile Section of the local Company.
He arrived in the Este territory in the summer of 2021 with the role first of Deputy Commander and then, from 2022, of Commander at the Carabinieri Station of Porto Garibaldi (FE) where he was able to learn about the social and criminal dynamics and the delicate issues relating to public order and safety of the Comacchio coast.
The mayor of Comacchio Pierluigi Negri, thanking him for the work done in these years, said goodbye to Lieutenant Mutri who leaves a territorial reality that he loves and that has contributed significantly to his professional and human growth, a reality to which he says goodbye, aware of the essential bond that ties him to the local population that welcomed him and made him feel at home, that same population that he tried, with commitment and dedication, to repay with daily service, in full respect of what a Carabiniere must represent for the community entrusted to him.
The mayor of Comacchio welcomed the new Commander at the same time, accompanied by the Commander of the Company, Lieutenant.
Lucilla Esposito, wishing him good work from the municipal administration and confirming the importance of dialogue and collaboration between the institutions of the territory, a bulwark of legality for citizens.
