Berra di Riva del Po: from house arrest to prison, 45-year-old arrested for mistreatment in the family

Has been transferred to prison in Ferrara, a 45 year old foreigner who had been resident in the Berra area for some time because he was hit by an order of execution for imprisonment issued by the Public Prosecutor's Office of the Court of Milano.

The facts date back to September 2024, when the man was responsible for mistreatment of his wife who, by profession, worked as a healthcare worker at a facility in Lombardy. The continuous threats, even serious ones, against the woman, had led to his being arrested in flagrante delicto and taken to the San Vittore prison from the moment he insistently showed up in front of the facility where, at that moment, his wife was working. During that circumstance, the woman was forced to leave the house with her minor children and find hospitality with some relatives.

From there, the granting of house arrest at a family member's residence in the municipality of Riva del Po (FE) and was constantly placed under the control of the Carabinieri of the Berra station.

At the end of the period, and consequently to the decision of the Milanese judge, the man was hit by a subsequent prison order for the same facts contested in the month of September. Yesterday evening, the military of the local station arrested him and took him to the Ferrara prison for the crime of mistreatment in the family.
