Another passenger, Olly Foster, reported to the BBC that he initially thought it was “a Halloween prank,” until he saw the blood.
“I heard screams, then I saw an older man trying to defend a younger girl. It seemed like forever, even though it was only minutes. Eventually, one of the attackers was tasered and subdued by the officers.”
Authorities confirmed that both suspects were neutralized with taser shocks, after they continued to brandish long knives in the train carriages.

According to reports from Superintendent John Loveless of the British Transport Police, the two arrested are British citizens aged 32 and 35, one of which is Caribbean origin. Both were captured within eight minutes of the first emergency call, a testament to the speed of the response of the police.
“At this time, there is no evidence to suggest a terrorist motive,” Loveless told a briefing in Huntingdon. “Investigations are continuing to establish all the circumstances and possible motives for the attack. We urge anyone who may have seen or heard anything to contact the police.”
