Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and President Sergio Mattarella on the occasion of the National Assembly of Crafts and Small and Medium Enterprises

On the occasion of the National Assembly of artisans and small and medium enterprises, the President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella and the Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni expressed themselves by dedicating a few words to the participants, currently engaged in addressing the current issues of the international context.

The Prime Minister, Giorgia Meloni, declared to the national assembly of artisans and small and medium-sized enterprises: “Without craftsmanship and small and medium-sized enterprises, Made in Italy simply would not exist, and Italy would not be able to count on the wealth of knowledge, quality and innovation that allows us to be known on international markets”, and he added “There is a wage problem that cannot be solved in Italy with the minimum hourly wage, and I think we all agree here. In Italy, a nation taken as a model for its bargaining capacity, the problem is solved by strengthening bargaining, extending it to sectors that are not covered".

The the President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella, he expressed himself through a message addressed to the president Dario Costantini: “Crafts and small and medium-sized businesses constitute essential sectors of the national productive fabric. Enhancing their competitiveness and resilience is a strategic objective to support sustainable, balanced and inclusive growth". The Italian President's message concludes with best wishes and greetings to the participants called to participate in this delicate international context: “An economic and social function, the latter, which must also be supported through the tools provided by the European Union. To all the participants in the Assembly, committed to addressing the most current issues in the sector within a delicate international context, I extend a warm greeting, together with my heartfelt wishes for good work".
