Promoted by the Departments of Culture and Libraries of the Municipality of Verona with the Verona Literary Society and the Kasa dei Libri di Milano, in collaboration with the EF Dall'Abaco Conservatory of Music of Verona, the initiative takes place in conjunction with the Maggio dei Libri, a national event which sees the participation of Verona as “City that reads”.
“Reading not only takes us outside the context we are experiencing – underlined the Councilor for Culture Marta Ugolini – but also allows us to relate to others, opening ourselves up to a sort of sharing of experiences, which represents a of the key points of the Administration, sought through the promotion of different initiatives, aimed at increasing the involvement of the Veronese community and beyond. The book is therefore seen as a vehicle that facilitates relationships, capable of supporting relationships between people, increasing their knowledge and common interests. In these four days of events a great opportunity will be given to all reading enthusiasts and to those who want to get involved in the varied offering of events".
The event was presented today by the Councilor for Culture Marta Ugolini together with the president of the Literary Society and the EF Dall'Abaco Conservatory Daniela Brunelli and Andrea Kerbaker Kasa dei libri di Milano. The complete program is available at this link.
