Trento: “Safe! Informed views on gender violence”, the project for young people aged 11 to 14 begins

It starts Monday 16 September the project Safe! Informed Views on Violence gender aimed at children aged between between 11 and 14 years old, that until November 25 2024 will be able to participate in lessons and workshops on relational and sexual well-being in adolescents.

The initiative, which will take place in HarpoLab in Garzetti square 24 every Monday from 14pm to 16pm, will offer the opportunity to create a multimedia product for the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.

Videos, podcasts, social content and a photographic exhibition will be the communication tools used to create a Peer-to-peer awareness campaign with the guidance of experts, tutors and volunteers from Zona Franca and Harpolab.

The project will provide meeting spaces for young people to reflect and develop awareness on gender issues through a peer-to-peer approach. Not only that, it will allow the development of a reusable multimedia communication tool and will stimulate relationships between different educational agencies by providing knowledge on the use of technology.

The path was born within the Trento Arcimaga Area Youth Plan and organized by theFree Zone Association in collaboration with the 'Parents' Association We for the Comprehensive Institute Trento 5.
