The initiative '"A Tree for Health" by Carabinieri and FADOI illuminates the green future of Gallipoli
Yesterday, October 29th, at the “Sacred Heart of Jesus” Hospital in Gallipoli (Le), the demonstration took place “Un tree for health“, thanks to FADOI (Federation of Associations of Italian Hospital Managers) and the Carabinieri of the Carabinieri Biodiversity Group in collaboration with the Provincial Command of Lecce. An initiative that is part of the wide-ranging project “A tree for the future“, which involves over 32 Italian hospitals, testifying to a renewed collective interest in environmental issues.
The main objective of the event was to sensitize the Salento community on the importance of the connection between human health and environmental protection. During the event, a native tree was planted as a sign of commitment to sustainability.
Captain Alberto DeBernardis, of the Biodiversity Department of Martina Franca (Ta), reiterated the fundamental role of the Carabinieri in the conservation of natural heritage, highlighting how even the small gestures, like today's, can contribute to improving the environment in which we live.
