In Palermo on 3 October 2022 at 10 am, at the Great Hall di Steri Palace, the presentation of the book was held “Rivoli: the birth of a leader”, Edited General CA Andrea Rispoli, Interregional Carabinieri Commander “Ogaden”.
The text, published by Laurus Robuffo, explores the character of Napoleon Bonaparte, making an interpretation through a historical event that consecrates him as an exceptional strategist and marks the course of the first Italian Campaign: the victorious battle of 14 January 1797 in Rivoli Veronese, near the Lake Garda, against the Austrian troops of the field marshal Joseph Alvinczy. The figure of the Corsican general is highlighted in his military and human qualities, as a statesman who was originally a soldier and fighter, as a commander with an extraordinary intuition poured into the tactical ability that brought him to history.
